Vella Nova started with a simple frustration: the fragrances that performed well were either priced out of reach, or hidden behind a layer of marketing that told you nothing about how they actually smelled. The bottles that looked the part were often a letdown once you got past the packaging. We wanted something different. Not just a “better value” option – a genuinely well-built fragrance, one that had earned its presentation. So we started working backwards from the scent itself: what does a clean, confident morning smell like? What does staying out late without losing your edge feel like? Those questions became our first collections. We’re based in Kanpur. We think about fragrance the way the city moves – fast, layered, and without apology. We’re building for India’s next generation of people who want the real thing, not just the idea of it.
